The Faith of Our Founders

Founding Father’s Faith Awareness Month was created to encourage, educate, and motivate everyday Americans across our land to learn about the faith of the men who created our Constitution.  This is no small thing because Americans have never been taught these truths.   And it was intentional that they were not.

Please watch, comment, and share, so that the algorithm will share this with more people.  Please share this with your pastor as well.  This series was built to educate the church within the building.  In addition to these daily devotions, we have another tool that the church can use to educate hundreds of thousands of people right outside of their building each and every week until the election.  These devotions can be downloaded this morning, and shared with an entire church body this afternoon.  Think about that.  In less than 24 hours, we can start to rebuild America’s foundation of faith.  Church by church.  Community by Community.  The only thing preventing that from happening is the church, us, ourselves…

The heavy lifting has been done.  This has taken years to research, write and create these devotions and the videos.   I have created two more months when we do the same thing.  February is called Presidents’ Faith Awareness Month and July is called Patriots’ Faith Awareness Month.  Each month has its own devotions and other tools. Each month can have the same incredible impact.  Each month you, and the church can be part of the solution.

Folks, it is time for the American Church to go on offense.  We have the best value proposition with Jesus Christ in the history of the world!  The vast majority of Americans just don’t know that yet. It is our job to make the introductions. Help make that happen.  Help support us financially so we produce even more tools to save our country for our children and grandchildren.  To date, this has been almost entirely self-funded.

Nothing I know is easier, quicker, less expensive, more effective, and can reach more people than what God has given me to create.  Help save our republic.  Help restore our country’s foundations of faith.  Help introduce people to Jesus Christ.  God is watching to see what the church does now, and what each one of us is doing right now.  Complacency will not be rewarded in heaven.  He has blessed each of us to live and prosper in this country.  Now it is our time to stand up for those who have bled, sacrificed and died for us, and also for the generations following us who will suffer horribly if we do not stand in the breach right now.

FOUNDING FATHERS’ FAITH AWARENESS MONTH (SEPTEMBER)

“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” Deuteronomy 4:9

Did you know that America’s constitution was signed 235 year ago on September 17, 1787? A remarkable document to say the least, our constitution is actually the longest continual codified constitution in the history of the world. Think about that.

This is the last paragraph, prior to all the signatures

“…done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In Witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,”

Interestingly, when George Washington was administered his oath of office as prescribed by Article II, Section 1 ,on April 29, 1789, he added the words “So help me God” to his oath.

Of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention, 28 were Episcopalians, 8 were Presbyterians, 7 were Congregationalists, 2 were Lutheran, 2 were Dutch Reformed, 2 were Methodists, 2 were Catholics, 3 were allegedly Deists and one whose faith was unknown.

FOUNDING FATHERS’ FAITH AWARENESS MONTH was established to educate all Americans as to the faith of the delegates and signers of the United States Constitution. Like the other two months, we have created civic proclamations, daily devotionals and indoor and outdoor banners that celebrate the wisdom, insight, and faith of these extraordinary men.

Churches, schools and civic organizations can use all of these tools to teach their children, members and their whole community how important faith was to the creation of our country and the blessings and protection God afforded to us as a result.

Introduction

FOUNDING FATHERS’ FAITH AWARENESS MONTH was established to publicly educate, commemorate, and celebrate the faith, courage, sacrifice, and wisdom of America’s early leaders, those individuals who helped draft, sign, and/or ratify the United States Constitution.
